When configuring a TWAIN scanner, the TWAIN driver must match the parmfile settings. So, if you are capturing a single TIFF image in the TWAIN settings, the parmfile must also have a single TIFF window. You must disable hw barcode, MICR and IJP in the parmfile.
The options under Intelligent Reader would be hardware barcode reader, hardware Patch Code reader and hardware MICR reader. So on a TWAIN scanner all would be disabled.
Pre-Processed Capture is used for ImageBar reads on the ImageTrac scanners. This uses the raw image to decode the barcodes so that we get the results back quicker. You cannot use PPC on a TWAIN scanner.
The DocNetics Image Barcode is essentially the same whether used in the parmfile or in Job Setup. Since it was moved into Job Setup, we normally set it up there versus in the parmfile. In both cases, you would configure an ImageBar config file to specify the number of barcodes to look for on each document and the symbologies of the barcodes.
