At TAB, we always scan Color images in as JPEGs and Black & White (Bitonal) images as TIFFs for consistency, and to maintain compatibility with our SoftTrac Capture Suite and various other Imaging tools. By default many scanners (Including Snap & Oversize) scan in color TIFFs or possibly various other file formats that we do not support.
