The PDF Merger tool uses OCR'd prefixes to locate target sheets scanned on the IBML.  Once it finds the selected prefix value on a target sheet it then looks for OS files with the same prefix with "-*.pdf" added on to the end of it and inserts that in place of the target sheet.  If there are multiple OS files with the same prefix before the "-*.pdf" it will insert all of the OS images with the same prefix in order at the point of the one insert image.  An example of an insert image prefix would be "EGAD001001" and the corresponding OS images would be named "EGAD001001-001.pdf" and "EGAD001001-002.pdf".

Calgary environment uses barcoded stickers and places the sticker on generic OS insert sheets.  Image overlay is used within the IBML setup to read the barcode and overlay the barcode value as font size 40 in the center of the insert page.  There is also a "OSize" barcode printed on the generic insert sheets which IBML uses in the overlay process.

Toronto environment does not have barcode stickers that can be placed on generic insert pages and uses a bartender file with excel sheet to create the prefixed insert number.  The barcodes on this page do not really serve any purpose at this time as image overlay is not needed since bartender is able to print the value on the page.  Image overlay needs to be turned off for the Toronto process to work as the overlay will go right over top of the bartender text and cause OCR to fail.
