To install a Kodak Scanner for IBML:

  • Install Kodak Twain Driver
  • Test Scanner functionality with Kodak Capture Software
  • Open Parm Setup and note:
  • Windows & Cameras & Order
  • Color Depth
  • DPI
  • IBR Read Count
  • Close Parm Setup and Change TWAIN Server “Select Source” to new Kodak Scanner
  • Open Kodak Driver UI
  • Using Twain Server SysTray Menu
  •  
    • Re- Open Parm Setup and Scan a Single Feed to access Driver UI
    • Create a new Profile to modify without affecting Default settings
      • Open the advanced Settings in your new Profile
      • Make Sure the Kodak Output is configured to be exactly like the Windows and Cameras in Parm Setup, terminology will vary.
        • Exit Advanced Mode.
        • In the General Settings Set your DPI
          • Under Detect Settings match your Barcode read count


          • Save your settings (Set as Default but Do not overwrite the Default Profile)

        • The Driver you use may look different, and even have different names for these values, you will have to use your own judgement to determine that these settings match up for SoftTrac to use the new Scanner.
